Finki Handmade began in 2009 as the Melbourne based label created by local designer Jaylene Falkner.
Defined by a love of vibrant colors, unique prints and natural fibers, the range of ladies clothing, jewellery and accessories are proudly Australian made and available in sizes 8 to 20.
Jaylene spends her days sewing, cutting and making away in her Preston studio whilst her partner in business and life, Tynan, manages their Northcote retail space.
A shop that is bursting at the seems with the work over over 20 independent designers alongside the Finki Label.
Team Finki, fill the shop with colorful, quirky and ethically made pieces for men and women alike. Offering a great selection of clothing, jewellery and gifts.
So whether you are after a denim skirt or a screen printed tee, some essential oil perfumes and candles or maybe just some fun socks and fantastic earrings, a visit to Finki Handmade will make your day.
They are centrally located just a 5 minute walk from both the High st and St.Georges rd trams, directly opposite the Northcote train station and a 1 minute walk from the 508 bus stop on Arthurton rd.
After shopping, why not make a day of it with all that Northcote has to offer.
The Herbert Cafe is across the road from Finki, offering scrumptious toasties and coffee or a short stroll up to High st will open up a world of dining options from Vietnamese and Israeli cuisine to a classic pub lunch.
There is always lots, to see and do in Northcote.
